iPad 2: Live from Apple’s Keynote Event
Apple is expected to unveil its second-gen iPad at a press event in San Francisco at 10AM PST, and PCMag is there to bring you the up-to-the-minute news. Follow our live blog for the full scoop, including plenty of photos.
It’s been a year since Apple unveiled its first tablet. And from the looks of it, a second-generation iPad is ready to make its debut today. And PCMag is on-site at the press event at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco to bring you the news as it happens.
It’s been rumored that we’ll see new slimmed-down tablets that come in different screen sizes and on various wireless carriers, with speedy dual-core CPUs, ultra-high Retina displays, cameras, USB ports, and SD card slots. It’s even been reported that there’s a white iPad in production. Even beyond the iPad, we’ve got all sorts of ideas about what we might see. Of course, no one actually knows what Jobs and Co. will announce until it happens.
Here’s what’s on our iPad wish list. What’s on yours? What else do you think we’ll see in San Francisco? (Maybe Jobs himself?) Do you think Android tablet contenders like the Motorola Xoom have the chops to take on Apple? Tune into our live blog and join the conversation. The event starts at 10AM PST/1PM EST, but we’ll be around starting at noon EST for tablet chat and to take your questions. If you need a reminder, you can sign up for one below.
